Together with Massi Rossi and Andreas Volk we are making lots of progress on understanding how microbubbles generate such three-dimensional vortical fluidic structures.
This particular set of experimental data used in the video was prepared by Massi to be showed in a cinema with 3D goggles! (that was in the PIV Conference 2013 in Delft), we even filmed ourselves in the lab with a home-made stereo-camera and it worked!. We should do this more often…
